Our story
Vincent and Nursel, from Turkey to Saint-Lô
Behind the Royal Kebab counter, there is a family. Vincent and Nursel Yigit, a couple from Turkey, brought with them the recipes, the spices and the warm welcome of their home country.
After years of work in Brest, Rennes and Nantes, they took over the former “Byzance” at 28 rue du Belle in 2013. Since then, the spit has been turning every day, right next to Notre-Dame church.
The house speciality? The Royal kebab: veal and turkey, with a touch of feta. And to finish, a Turkish delight or a baklava, just like back home.
Here, we don't just serve a kebab. We welcome our guests like family.
